Why we built our own archviz software
We are an archviz studio. We make renders for clients, and over the last 18 months the clients got bigger, the deadlines got worse, and we were running the whole studio on a stack of tools that never talked to each other: a spreadsheet for tasks, then ClickUp, then Figma and Frame.io, paying for every one of them. iMeshh Pro is the platform Charles and I finally built to replace all of it, one place to run an architectural visualization studio from the first proposal to the final invoice.
It is not a new idea. We had the plan four years ago and named it iMeshh Pro back then. Every tool we reached for since was a step we had already sketched out, so we decided to funnel what we earned into building the platform we actually wanted. The important part for you: we tested it on our own real client work first. Our clients were the unwilling guinea pigs, they found the bugs, we fixed them, and it now runs our studio every day. The asset library, searchable by anything
Most people know iMeshh for the assets, so that is where the tour starts. The library has been rebuilt: you can type "glass table" or "green lamp" and it finds them instantly, or filter the whole catalogue by colour and style when you do not yet know what you are looking for. Building a scene and need something orange, or a boho-style lamp, is now one click. Every asset also surfaces similar assets down the side, so one search turns into a shortlist. Projects, tasks and client review
Projects are where we spend most of our time. Tasks work the way you expect from a board tool: assign them to people, add subtasks, drop images into comments, attach checklists so the same mistake does not come back twice. One of our real lists runs to about 2,500 tasks, so this is built for volume, not a demo.
Deliverables are the part that changed how we work. Send a client a render and every version is tracked, so the history of how an image developed is right there, and past a certain number of rounds you can start charging for the extra work. Clients review directly on the image with pinned comments, so "change this lamp" lands on the exact spot instead of getting lost in an email chain. 360 tours, clients and proposals
360 tours let you build walkthroughs with waypoints and hotspots, plus configurators, so a client can switch worktops, wall colours and other layers inside the tour. The clients dashboard then ties the whole relationship together: how much they have spent, what is outstanding, the invoices you have sent, and the projects being worked on, all in one place. That is the point of building it as one system rather than five tools stitched together with Zapier.
Proposals are the part I think is most underrated. You build an interactive proposal with your images and past showcases and send it as a link, and the client gets a real page: why they should work with you, what other clients have said, and a package selector with upsells. Base rate here, a little more for two extra cameos and a detail render, a premium tier with add-ons. They approve or decline at the bottom, and an approval turns straight into an invoice against that client, split 50/50 if you want. Invoices, showcases, jobs and academy
Invoices are created and assigned to clients from the same place, so the money side is never a separate spreadsheet. Rate cards let you set specific prices per client, with a suggested price if you are not sure what to charge.
Showcases are the public, professional side: a place to post your work as a full case study, with before-and-after blocks and a timeline of how you work, so an interested client can be sent to a live case study rather than a flat portfolio. There is a jobs section too, aimed at professionals finding each other, with real listings going up over time. Feeds is the running conversation, post work or ask for feedback and jump into the thread. And academy now links your existing course purchases straight into the platform, so your learning lives in the same place as your work.
